Fi4, a specialized inspection drone jointly developed by ACSL and NJS, can address these needs.

Capable of stable flight, even in narrow pipes

ACSL Fi4 confined space inspection drone is made of optimal materials, combining a light and strong carbon-fiber core with an outer foam bumper that even enables floatation.

The carbon-fiber core is highly durable, while the outer bumper is made of low-cost foam, allowing for easy replacement of only the parts that are subject to wear and tear. It is also IP55 dustproof and waterproof, making it suitable for inspection of even harsh environments.

Waterproof camera with internal gimbal for crisp images

A waterproof camera with internal gimbal allows for the capture of crisp images of defects such as cracks (left image).

Furthermore, orthogonal photography enables the size of cracks to be precisely measured (right image).

Simple operations and maintenance

The forward-biased propellers allow Fi4 to advance through a pipe, without the need to pitch, for easy operations.

In addition, a smart controller with a dedicated control application simplifies operations while displaying the conditions in the pipe in real time.

The outer bumper is made of foam and can be detached from the core (which contains all internal electronics) for easy repair and rejuvenation
